Choisya often flowers twice - in late spring and also in autumn (almost into winter). The golden variety Choisya ternata Sundance or Golden Mexican Orange Blossom has beautiful yellow leaves and although it normally flowers less than the green variety, it still puts on a good show with the bonus of bright foliage all year round. These varieties originate in Mexico hence their common name, but somewhat unusually they are as well known by their latin name as they are by common name. Both are fine in any soil and any fairly sunny situation (south, west or east facing) and are easy maintenance - just a quick trim once a year after flowering to encourage a second flush. They are both good for hedging at 1m to 2m in height. We have pot grown plants available all year round. Don't forget to order RootGrow and/or BonemealNew range of beautiful topiary now available.
