Online Catalogue | Dogwood Hedging (Cornus alba, Cornus sibirica, Cornus stolonifera, Cornus sanguinea)
Dogwood makes a great informal hedge - especially useful in an area that is a focal point in winter when its vivid red or yellow stems are a real feature. It is most famous for it's winter stem colour but it is also an attractive shrub in Spring and Summer with flat heads of white flowers and white berries. We sell all the main varieties - Alba is red stemmed, Sibirica is particuarly vivid red stemmed, Stolonifera is yellow stemmed and Sanguinea "Midwinter Fire" has red/orange/yellow flame like stems. They look best when several of the same colour are planted in a group. We have Dogwood as cell grown and pot grown plants available all year round - and bare root plants only available Nov to early April (sometimes late March). Don't forget to order RootGrow and/or Bonemeal.
