Lavender 'Little Lady' is even more compact than the popular Lavender Hidcote. It has bright blue flowers (just a shade lighter than Hidcote). As with all Lavenders, it likes a sunny situation and dry-ish soil (or plant on a ridge of soil to prevent the roots getting waterlogged). These plants will flower in the summer after planting (or will be delivered in flower if ordered in summer!). Trim after flowering to allow the plant to develop some new grey/green foliage to cover the cut ends for a fluffy appearance throughout winter - or leave the flower spikes on for the birds in winter, but the hedge will then not have such a neat appearance the following year. We recommend planting 4 per metre for a row of little hillocks or 5 or 6 per metre for a solid hedge appearance (which can be achieved in the second year). We have pot grown plants available all year round. Don't forget to order RootGrow and/or BonemealNew range of beautiful topiary now available.
