Photinia Red Robin Hedging and Topiary (Photinia x fraseri)

A fantastic hedging species to introduce bright colour into the garden with its Spring growth of bright red new season's growth, which gradually mature over the Summer to a reddish/green. It's good for hedging, but not quite as dense as some other species - it tends to have looser, more delicate branches - good for some situations but not all. It's good in sun or partial shade and any moist but well drained soil.

We also have beautiful Photinia Red Robin topiary standards and also Little Red Robin which has smaller leaves with even stronger red tinges - gorgeous! If you were thinking of comparing our prices to others you may be confused by some referring to Quarter Standards, Half Standards and Full Standards - this is how Photinia topiary is sold, but we think it's helpful to know that Quarter Standards have approx 50cm clear stems, Half Standards have approx 1m clear stems and Full Standards have approx 1.8/2.0m clear stems.
