Portuguese Laurel Hedging (Prunus lusitanica)

The Portuguese Laurel hedging plant is a gorgeous evergreen with attractive, shiny pointed leaves and red stems - very classy! Although it does have white flowers and berries with mature from red to black, it's really grown for it's beautiful foliage and stem colour. It has an average growth rate and is good in sun or shade and all soils except very wet soil and shallow chalk.
Good for dense hedging from 1.5m upwards.
