Bare root hedge plants are fantastic value for money and are incredibly popular. Mostly native, deciduous hedging species many of them flower and/or berry so they make great hedges for wildlife.
Not all bare root hedging plants lose their leaves; Yew, Laurel, Privet, Box, Holly and Cotoneaster Franchetii are evergreen hedging plants which can be planted as bare roots.

Bare roots - what you need to know
Bare roots are available to plant from November - April during dormancy, the natural resting period for the plants !!(2013 Update - bare roots available until early May due to cold weather)If you're looking for inexpensive hedging plants then bare roots are ideal - check out our Special Offers too.
