It's a wild cherry with fruits so bitter that only the birds will eat them - but they'll love them!Bird Cherry can be trimmed to the same height as other species in a mixed native hedge or allowed to grow as a hedgerow tree.It has beautiful highly fragrant white blossom in May and pretty mid sized green leaves. This is a very good species to add in to a selection of mixed native hedging. It is deciduous.We have Bird Cherry as a bare root plant, available from November to early April (sometimes late March).
