Online Catalogue | Dog Rose Hedging (Rosa canina)
Click here for a chart of species characteristics to help you chooseThe Dog Rose hedge plant is a native wild rose with very prickly stems, beautiful and profuse pale pink flowers in June, orange/red rose hips in autumn and a typical rose leaf. Dog Rose is included in our mixed native hedging packs or if you're choosing your own species, this is one not to miss. It's fast growing and scrambling so we generally advise people to take a size down from the rest of their plants ie if you're buying other plants at 60/90cm then you only need 40/60cm Dog Rose.Cell grown and pot grown plants are available all year round - grown on our own nurseries. We have this species as a bare root plant, available from November to early April (sometimes late March). Don't forget to order RootGrow and/or Bonemeal.New range of beautiful topiary now available.
