After Plant Evergreen is an all-purpose fertiliser with added rootgrow, seaweed and nitrogen-fixing bacteria. The added ingredients are included to gradually build soil fertility to support healthy growth and appearance of both establishing and developed plants. Its nitrogen sourced ingredients are required for top growth and greening so you can keep the evergreen foliage of topiary, garden plants and hedging looking abundantly green and healthy. The inclusion of Rootgrow doesn’t constitute this fertiliser as a substitute for the mycorrhizal fungi as they work best alongside each other.

When using After Plant Evergreen, 1kg bag will cover 40m2 when planting 25g (a reasonable handful) per m2. Simply add a top layer of the feed, mix well with the soil and water in.

Pot grown and cell grown plants are available year round and make a great option when planting a hedge. Pots come in various sizes, as do the plants grown in them, and can be planted when convenient for you. These plants will be happy in their pots, given enough water, until you’re ready to plant. Cell Grown plants are usually small, 10-30cm and a great step between Pots and Bare Roots.

Bare root hedging plants are extremely popular. They are delivered and should be planted during the dormant season (usually November to April) and can be pre ordered from mid-summer. We recommend pre-ordering where possible to reserve your plants but take new orders right the way through the season. Bare roots are a cost effective way of planting a new hedge.

Root balls are generally available from October through to April/May, though some species are available year round. The plants are field grown and then lifted with a ‘ball’ of soil around the roots that is secured with hessian and sometimes wire. Root balls are often very impressive plants that can be pre ordered from mid-summer.

Instant hedging provides immediate impact to any project. These hedge units are grown in troughs or strong bags where they are shaped and pruned over many years to create a hedging panel that is already knitted together, producing an impressive instant hedge. Instant hedging is available to plant year round.

The bushes arrived in good condition on the whole - only a couple had broken branches, but with 56 in a pallet, it's not surprising!
Only real quibble was that there were no planting instructions or advice given - thankfully there is Google!

On 08-Sep-2016 the supplier responded:
Service rating :Thanks for taking the time to provide you feedback and, whilst I'm please to hear that you were pleased with the plants and communication you received, I'm sorry that you are having problems with your leaky hose. I've arranged for a couple of extra end-caps to be sent out to see if this helps.

Hopefully this will solve your problem, though if not please do get in touch and we can replace the hose for you.
