Levens Hall – Hedging, Topiary & Trees

Levens Hall is a family owned estate that is home to a garden, first laid out in the 1690s, containing fantastic high hedges, beautiful flower beds and, not forgetting, its most popular feature; the huge, unique collection of topiary shapes created from Box and Yew. Over 100 shapes make Levens Hall the most extensive topiary garden in the world and as some of the plants are three hundred years old, it’s also the oldest topiary garden in the world.

With this being said, we thought we’d give it a visit and see what all the fuss is about in the hope of finding some hedging inspiration and well, the photo’s speak for themselves…
