Box topiary can add instant impact to your garden and using topiary cones symmetrically either side of your front door is sure to spark some jealousy amongst the neighbours. Box topiary trees have numerous uses and are an easy way to influence the focal point of your garden. Placed at intervals along garden paths and borders, Buxus topiary cones can create the illusion of space and make small gardens appear larger than they actually are.
You can use our Box topiary cones to punctuate hedges and borders, or plant alone for a striking architectural feature.
Buxus sempervirens is a slow growing species, achieving about 10-15cm a year.
As with all topiary shapes, we recommend trimming your Box cones little and often to maintain a neat, healthy shape. However, if you're happy for your topiary shapes to have a slightly more relaxed aesthetic, trimming once or twice a year should suffice. You can find more pruning information in our Advice Section.
