Guelder Rose (Viburnum opulus) description

Guelder Rose is in fact not a Rose at all but a Viburnum. It is popularly used in native mixes to add seasonal interest and is very wildlife friendly. The glossy red berries are slightly poisonous and, although Viburnum opulus is considered self-fertile, it is advisable to have more than one plant to ensure pollination and subsequently, berries!
