Most popularly grown up walls and along fences, Irish Ivy is perfect for covering unsightly surfaces. Hedera hibernica can also be used as ground cover. Simply pin down the new shoots and they will quickly take root. Hedera hibernica is great for using as ground cover as it discourages soil erosion. The roots help to bind the soil, preventing erosion. Irish Ivy has 'aerial roots', meaning they grow above ground. This makes it the ideal climbing ivy for walls and fences and once established Irish Ivy will quickly cover any surface.

A point to remember when planting and pruning your Irish Ivy is that the sap can irritate the skin. It is best to wear long sleeves and gloves when handling this plant if you have sensitive skin.

On 20-Jun-2016 the supplier responded:
Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback and I'm sorry to hear that you were not happy with the service you have received. With regard to the request made online for your plants to be left at the rear of your property, I can confirm that this was passed to the courier, however the note on their system says that they could not manoeuvre the pallet through your passageway and, as we instruct them to leave the pallet without signature, thought the plants would be best left at the front of your property rather then taken back to the depot.

I'm sorry, too that your Ivy were smaller than advertised and that your Leylandii were not as wide as you expected. If you would be able to send through an image or two of the plants in question I would be happy to investigate this fully for you.

The plants arrived in excellent health albeit a little jumbled in the box.
Might I suggest that if shipping via Parcel Force you pack the plant-pots into something to stop them tipping over.

On 30-Mar-2016 the supplier responded:
Service rating :Thanks for your feedback and I'm sorry that the plants were smaller than initially ordered. On the rare occasion that we are in receipt of shorter plants from our Production Site we do always try to contact our customers and give as many options as possible.

I note that you have marked the products as poor quality; although the plants are shorter than we had initially hoped, is there a further issue with them? Please do get in touch using the details below and I'll help however I can in getting any problems you might have sorted out.

Ordered Ivy plants to make a hedge. We wanted them to be well established so that they would cover a mesh fence quickly. These plants have a very good root system and are a decent height, so very satisfied with them. Expect they will take off in the spring no problem. Very satisfied with the service and would recommend this company.
