Bay Laurel hedge (Laurus nobilis) description

Although not grown primarily for it flowers, Bay Laurel produces yellow flowers in spring and dark berries in autumn. Bay laurel has dark green foliage making for a lush feature and its aromatic leaves can be used to flavour a variety of dishes. Bay Laurel thrives in a sunny position in normal soil. It can handle a coastal site but should be sheltered from strong winds.
