The plants looked healthy and strong and I was pleasantly surprised. They were also of a decent size. They were planted within two days of arriving and are looking very good around my garden. So far so good.

On 30-Mar-2016 the supplier responded:
Thanks for your feedback and I'm sorry that the plants were smaller than initially ordered. On the rare occasion that we are in receipt of shorter plants from our Production Site we do always try to contact our customers and give as many options as possible.

I note that you have marked the products as poor quality; although the plants are shorter than we had initially hoped, is there a further issue with them? Please do get in touch using the details below and I'll help however I can in getting any problems you might have sorted out.

Very wide variation in size - Ordered 100, most of which were well over the 20-40 cms specified. A few pretty small and straggly. Bare root so bound together for shipment, with the result that there was some blackening and loss of leaves from the stems. Only planted last week so too soon to tell how well they will establish and grow.

Plants arrived with no leaves and smelt and looked like they had been sat in stale water for a long time.i have planted them but not hopeful they will survive!
Compared to other online growers I've used I will not use these again.

On 28-Mar-2014 the supplier responded:
Thanks for providing your feedback, it really is appreciated. I'm very sorry to hear that you have experienced a problem with your plants and I'm concerned that you say that the plants had no leaves; if this is the case please do send me a photograph (to enquiries@best4hedging.co.uk) and I will arrange for some replacements to be sent to you as it might be that you have received the incorrect stock in error as even when bare-rooted Lonicera should retain the majority of its leaves.
