Pot grown and cell grown plants are available year round and make a great option when planting a hedge. Pots come in various sizes, as do the plants grown in them, and can be planted when convenient for you. These plants will be happy in their pots, given enough water, until you’re ready to plant. Cell Grown plants are usually small, 10-30cm and a great step between Pots and Bare Roots.

Bare root hedging plants are extremely popular. They are delivered and should be planted during the dormant season (usually November to April) and can be pre ordered from mid-summer. We recommend pre-ordering where possible to reserve your plants but take new orders right the way through the season. Bare roots are a cost effective way of planting a new hedge.

Root balls are generally available from October through to April/May, though some species are available year round. The plants are field grown and then lifted with a ‘ball’ of soil around the roots that is secured with hessian and sometimes wire. Root balls are often very impressive plants that can be pre ordered from mid-summer.

Instant hedging provides immediate impact to any project. These hedge units are grown in troughs or strong bags where they are shaped and pruned over many years to create a hedging panel that is already knitted together, producing an impressive instant hedge. Instant hedging is available to plant year round.

Prunus Subhirtella Autumnalis Rosea Tree

-

Disappointed with size of tree, can now understand why a photograph is not displayed on the site of an actual tree supplied (hedges sold are true to the photos shown according to price/size). It has appearance of a shrub, £50 is more than garden centres are charging for a much more substantial tree. Dissappointed with value for money with company for first time, having ordered plants before and been happy!

On 26-Jul-2016 the supplier responded:
Product :Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback, it really is appreciated and does help in assessing areas where we can improve.

I'm sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with your Cherry tree. Many of our Ornamental Trees are dispatched directly from our Production Site and this was the case with your Prunus. Whilst I cannot comment on the quality and price of trees from another company, I would like to assess the tree which you are in receipt of; as to reconcile your comments could I trouble you to send me through an image of two of the tree at the email address below? I'll then be equipped to discuss his with our Dispatch Manager and our Production Site Manager and come back to you with our findings.
