Rosemary hedge (Rosmarinus officinalis) description

Rosemary is a popular evergreen shrub that produces an aromatic herb perfect for cooking. It also provides blue/purple flowers as early as February as long as it’'s planted in a sunny and sheltered site. As Rosmarinus officinalis is a Mediterranean plant it prefers a dry and stoney site and it will not cope well if it is waterlogged.
