  • Ideal For Hedges: 1-4m
  • Growth Rate: Average | 20-40cm

For maximum berry production, Hippophae rhamnoides does best in a sunny site, but it will still do well in partial shade. Sea Buckthorn's berries are edible and high in vitamin C, however they do have a purgative effect - so take care!

An ideal hedge for the coast, it works well as a windbreak or for screening purposes. Sea Buckthorn also looks great in a mixed native hedge.
