Gorse hedge (Ulex europaeus) description

Gorse boasts golden yellow flowers from spring, right through to the winter. The green foliage makes a great screen and the sharp spines a useful intruder deterrent. Plant a gorse hedge to attract wildlife into your garden. The yellow, scented flowers are very bee friendly as they provide such a long season of nectar.

Common uses of Gorse hedging plants

Ulex europaeus looks at home in natural settings such as informal garden hedging and provides year-round interest to wildlife and humans alike.
