Brachyglottis Senecio ‘Sunshine’ will bring a burst of colour to any outside space. With large, yellow, daisy-like flowers and evergreen foliage, Senecio ‘Sunshine’ is a lovely, informal shrub. The grey-green leaves and young stems are covered in a soft fuzzy texture of white growth. Branchyglottis ‘Sunshine’ is a tough plant usually found at the coast but can be enjoyed in nearly all planting sites.

It could be assumed that a plant called ‘Sunshine’ would only be suited to sunny situations, but in fact Brachyglottis ‘Sunshine’ also performs well in partial shade and is fully hardy. The Senecio ‘Sunshine’ name was actually inspired by its bright yellow flowers that decorate the fluffy stems and contrast beautifully with its unique, felt textured, grey-green foliage. Senecio ‘Sunshine’ is naturally slow growing reaching a height of around 1 metre, and it grows well in all soil except for especially wet soil; it is fairly drought tolerant and good for colder areas with potential high winds.
