Chaenomeles x superba 'Crimson & Gold' 3L Pot

Also known as Japanese Quince 'Crimson and Gold', this spiny, deciduous shrub, actually blooms on bare branches in early spring.  Crimson cup-shaped flowers with golden centres are followed shortly afterwards by small, glossy green leaves.  As summer progresses, the flowers give way to the yellow-green quince fruit extending the seasonal colour. This climbing, spreading shrub is ideal for training and has the benefit of being both hardy and low maintenance.
