Potentilla hedge plants create a colourful deciduous shrub with a long flowering season. From late spring, through to early autumn, Potentilla shrubs are covered with 5 petalled, saucer-shaped flowers. Shrubby cinquefoil hedge plants are ideal for colourful, informal hedges and the early summer flowers are great for attracting bumblebees to your garden.

Potentilla shrubs have an average growth rate and can be expected to achieve 20-40cm per year. Although Potentilla hedging can reach 1.5m in height Shrubby cinquefoil can be easily maintained at less than 1m.
