In autumn, the leaves of Cotoneaster simonsii are tinted with red for a warm seasonal glow. Originating from the Himalayas, Cotoneaster simonsii can withstand cold weather and will retain most of its leaves in all but the harshest of winters.

I'd originally bought a mixed Cotoneaster hedge - 3 of Simonsii to 1 of Franchettii. The recentorder was ro replace several of the Simonsii that had, I suspect inadequate watering during their second summer.
