Griselinia littoralis hedging (New Zealand Privet) description

Griselinia littoralis hedge plants have lovely, soft, green foliage which is oval-shaped and glossy. Due to its evergreen nature, Griselinia hedging offers year-round privacy screening, whilst providing shelter from noise pollution and winds. This is an ideal choice for seaside locations, as the hardy foliage can tolerate harsh weather conditions.

Best uses for Griselinia hedge plants

Griselinia littoralis is perfect for formal hedging as it can be clipped into a fairly compact, neat shape. New Zealand Privet can handle most UK climates, apart from those that experience extremely cold temperatures; Oleaster would be a better choice in these conditions.

New Zealand Privet can be combined with the variegated variety of Griselinia littoralis; Dixon's Cream for a brighter look, or grown alone as a classic, feature hedge, that would make an attractive addition to any garden.

On 14-May-2018 the supplier responded:
Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback and for bringing this to our attention regarding your order. I have just looked into your order to understand the situation, I can see that we have been in contact with yourself regarding the staining on the plants in which you supplied us with photos. I can see that the service team advised you that the blotches were perfectly ok and that they should not cause damage to the plants however if it does to contact us further. Due to the health of the plants deteriorating you contacted us again and our service team escalated this case to our Sales Manager, Nick, who contacted you and asked for further images so we could inspect the plants. We did not receive any further images regarding this and so assumed that the plants had survived. We have to see photos of all cases where plants have not survived for us to be able to refund or replace.

We want to supply the best possible hedging we can and so i'm very sorry that in this case the hedging has not survived. I have arranged for the full amount of the order to be refunded to you, the service team will put this through straight away. We hope that this makes up for the problems with this order and once again please accept our apologies regarding this, we can fully understand the frustration this has caused.

If you would like to discuss anything with us further, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01257 261 243 and we will be happy to speak with yourself.

Kind Regards,
Dale, Best4hedging

Waste of money. Wasn't even close to what was advertised. Advertised as 80-100cm high. Was more like 40-50cm. Not to mention the width - stick thin!
