Care advice for Cornus stolonifera 'Flaviramea' hedging

Yellow Dogwood hedging benefits from a "less is more" trimming approach. It does not need pruning in its first year. After that, Cornus stolonifera 'Flaviramea' should be cut right back to approximately a 4" inch base from the ground. By pruning this much in February/March, before the buds appear, it encourages more brightly coloured shoots. Please view the best4hedging care instructions in our Advice section.
